I've always felt that forever as far as I can remember. The thought of suicide was basically like breathing. It was always there. Not that I always planned on how I was gonna do it or anything like that and I don't know how to get over it. Nothing really helped but ever since my dad passed away unexpectedly I haven't been suicidal or thought about suicide however, the thought pops up once or twice a day but not every moment of my being. I don't know if it's the trauma that changed how I felt or if I just pushed my depression deep down and it's gonna explode in my face one day.
Now to something that might help if you haven't already seen a psychologist and etc.. I want to start writing a journal. Not necessarily your emotions or anything but the positive things that happened that day. For example: if the weather was good or the birds were pretty or you liked that way a candle smelled it could literally be anything. Positive thoughts/things are like buying a new car. When you don't have the car you don't notice how many people have it but as soon as you buy that car you start seeing it everywhere and that's when you realize how many people have the same kind. Positivity is pretty contagious. Once you start writing positive things in your journal you start noticing more positive things around you or your start looking for more positive things so you can write about it. Hopefully that helps <3

I put all my tools for how I’ve dealt with my depression for the last 10 years on my YouTube channel, to try to help other Desi Women who feel stigmatized. I started my channel in case I’m not around for my kids to help them if they have the same problems with depression. Hopefully I’m here, but in the meantime if it can Help anyone else my heart will be happy. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9jV1p9I6ZQhmSC12BBZm2qfEFX-LulXD
